Susan Weber, Dr. Fred J. Epstein, & Kathy Lord

MUSIC THAT HEALS is a fund set up by musicians
Kathy Lord and Susan Weber in collaboration with Hospital Audiences Inc. (HAI), an organization that provides health and wellness through the arts.

First and foremost, MUSIC THAT HEALS provides musical entertainment to seriously ill children and adults.

HAI (Hospital Audiences, Inc.), a not-for-profit organization, was founded in 1969 by Michael Jon Spencer. In 2002, after 31 years, it will have reached an audience estimated at 9.37 million through over 286,500 events. HAI restores a sense of Hope And Inspiration through providing opportunities to experience the arts: to enjoy music, theater and dance, and to create through the Arts Workshop Program. HAI also provides opportunities to acquire skills for supportive/independent living, and to utilize information compiled by HAI; for example: its second edition of A Guide For People With Disabilities To New York City Cultural Institutions.
HAI is happy to share its knowledge and experience in collaborating with the efforts of two long-standing HAI artists, Kathy Lord and Susan Weber, to provide
MUSIC THAT HEALS, which brings live musical performances to children and adults who are seriously ill.
